Yes, that is Punxsutawney Phil’s complete nickname.  This year, he saw his shadow thus forecasting 6 more weeks of winter.  As a PA native, Groundhog’s Day is near and dear to my heart. I found this amazing post explaining the roots and signicance of the holiday in Catholic liturgy.
